About Event
The return of the Hockey India League (HIL) for the 2024-25 season is a significant milestone for Indian hockey, marking the revival of one of the most prominent hockey leagues after a 7-year hiatus. This edition is particularly special as it celebrates the success of Indian hockey teams on the global stage, following back-to-back Olympic bronze medals, and introduces the inaugural Women’s Hockey India League.

Key Details:

Men’s Hockey India League:
Dates: 28th December 2024 – 1st February 2025
Venue: Primarily in Rourkela, Odisha
(The matches will be held at the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium, the world's largest all-seater field hockey stadium.)

Women’s Hockey India League:
Dates: 12th to 26th January 2025
Venue: Primarily in Ranchi, Jharkhand
(Hosted at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium, a key center for women’s hockey development in India.)

Any item considered dangerous/hazardous to the security of the stadium, players, spectators and / or assembled guests, including but not limited to alcohol, psychotropic substances, banned substances, tobacco or tobacco products, arms & ammunition, knives or other sharp implements (including Swiss army knives and similar derivatives), weapons, inflammable substances, fire crackers, matchboxes, lighters, coins, bottles, tins, cans, metal containers and any other item that may be considered hazardous will not be permitted into the stadium.
  4. The organisers do not take any responsibility for any injuries, loss or theft of any personal belongings of the ticket holder.
  5. All matches are subject to Force Majeure conditions.
  6. Gates open 2 hours prior to the start of the match day.
